To combat food insecurity, Mississippi’s Department of Agriculture and Commerce (MDAC) partnered with local food banks across the state to launch the Local Food Purchase Assistance Cooperative Agreement program (LFPA).
PHA is supporting food access in the Mississippi Delta through GROW, an initiative that supports Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) food entrepreneurs who are harnessing the power of produce to create a local good food economy.
